I started sewing in 2008 when my husband & I moved to a town called Pumpkintown (pronounced Pun Kin Town), and I needed a hobby. My love of sewing and crafting quickly turned into an addiction. I started the Joy Schoppe in 2010 to cover the costs of fabrics & materials I loved.
I named the store after my mom, Joy Schoppe, and thought it was perfect because it sounds like Joy Shop! I thought it was fate. She passed in 2003 from breast cancer. Not only do I think about her all the time with my Etsy shop I say her name out loud every day.
I am so proud that my scented eye pillows have been featured in two major magazines!!! The November 2011 Better Homes & Gardens magazine - both print and online. Shipping & Returns Policy
Shipping
Processing Time: All items are ready to ship and will be mailed within 2-3 business days via USPS Priority Mail.
Tracking: A tracking number will be provided upon shipment. Both the seller and buyer will receive notification when the item is delivered.
Delivery: Once the item is handed over to USPS, the seller is not responsible for the delivery timeline, as it is managed by USPS.
Damaged Items: If an item arrives damaged, the buyer must provide a photo of the damaged item to initiate a claim with USPS. For a full refund (including shipping costs), the item must be returned to the seller, with return shipping costs covered by the seller.
Non-Delivered Items: If an item is reported as not delivered, the buyer must assist the seller in filing a claim with USPS to resolve the issue.
Returns
Contact: If you have any issues with your order, please message the seller directly to allow an opportunity to address your concerns. Every effort will be made to resolve any issues.
Return Conditions: Items must be returned in perfect condition. As these items are made with fabric, they must be free of stains, washing, or odors (e.g., cigarettes, animals, perfumes, etc.) to be eligible for a return.
